Whitney Galitz is an LA based costume designer with a diverse body of work spanning film, television, and commercials. She has just completed her fourth season designing the hit series Criminal Minds: Evolution, where her ability to craft nuanced, character-driven looks has been central to the show’s visual storytelling in a world of over the top villains pursued by hard boiled and quirky heroes.
Prior to the Criminal Minds franchise, she designed three seasons of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., where she navigated a wide range of genres within the Marvel Universe — from stunt-heavy action and grounded drama to sci-fi, fantasy, and period storylines. In addition to her design work, she has contributed to acclaimed projects including the neo-western The Harder They Fall, pop dramedy She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, the Golden Globe–nominated Danny Collins, and cultural landmark The Office. These credits underscore her ability to move fluidly between large-scale productions and intimate character-driven stories.
Trained in costume design for theater at the University of California, Santa Barbara, Whitney draws from a strong foundation in the arts to inform every project. Now with over 20 years of industry experience, she continues a career defined by range, adaptability, artistry, and collaboration that brings bold creative visions to the screen.
